This morning Jesse Theresa and Jaden headed out for some Shark fishing. We started out slow but after finding some warmer water the fishing got hot! We caught 2 Hammerheads, 2 Big Spinner Sharks and a Sandbar Shark back to back. We also pulled off a couple more and lost a huge Spinner after it jumped completely out of the water several times. At the end of our last drift we hooked a big Mahi Mahi that Jaden reeled in like a pro! We headed inside to look for Red Drum but some nasty thunderstorms were coming so we headed in. Great job guys!

We had a split group with the Cast Away this morning. Dave had Keith and his family and I had Dan and his family. We stared off trolling and our group caught a few Bluefish while the Cast Away caught a couple Spanish Mackerel. After catching a few Dan was ready o try to catch a shark for the kids to see so we put out the chum. We hooked a big one right away but he got off then we caught a small Cobia. A while later we caught an Amberjack then we finally got a double header of Sharp Nose Sharks for the Kids. Cast Away also got a couple Jacks and a keeper Cobia. Sorry for the smudgy pics, need to clean my lens. Riley took the wheel for the ride home and she did a great job driving! Thanks for a fun family trip guys.

Today Dave Mason and Jeff Deschon brought the boys out for A fun day of fishing. We started off trolling a weed line but it was very scattered and hard to follow so we decided to try some chumming. We had great action with big Spinner Sharks hooking them steady through the morning. Later we headed a bit north and immediately caught a Cobia but had no more shark action. The weed line came together so we went back to trolling and hooked a nice King Mackerel but he spit the hook at the boat. We tried to find the big Drum in the afternoon but they didn’t show today. Always a pleasure to fish with one of my best friends and fishing buddy for the last 20 plus years. Love ya Dave!
July 7th
This afternoon Steve and his family headed out for another chumming trip. Fishing wasn’t as steady as this morning but we hooked a huge Spinner Shark that almost spooled us until we got the boat in gear and chased it down. He made a series of spectacular jumps before cutting off the heavy leader. A little while later we had a Cobia swim right up to the boat and Steve put him in the box like a pro. Thanks for a fun afternoon guys!

July 3rd
This morning Tommy Sidney Mary and Owen headed out in search of inshore Dolphin. It took us a little while to find the right conditions due to low light and terrible visibility but we found a pretty break about 2 miles off the beach. Owen scored first with a nice gaffer on a Trout rod. The big guys got a couple smaller ones then Mary got the big fish of the day on the Trout rod too! We like to catch big fish on light tackle on the Sneaky and there’s nothing better than casting to big Dolphin with 10 pound test!

Wish we had gotten a good picture but it looked like an 8-10 foot Tiger after getting a good look at it. Thanks guys, what a fun day!

We started off with a double header of Gaffer Dolphins on Trout rods with 10 pound test. We got two more singles on the light tackle before the wind started to crank up. It was getting rough fast out there so we headed in to look for a Cobia near the beach but never saw one. Thanks guys, those were the biggest Mahi we’ve ever caught with Trout rods on the Sneaky!

We caught a bunch of small Stripers but no Trout. We decided to head to the ocean and try sight fishing for Cobia. Friday June 3rd Morning and Afternoon
Fishing was really tough today. We had fog this morning and some of the strongest current I can remember due to the mini hurricane that reformed yesterday. We caught some Spanish Mackerel and Bluefish but the Sharks and Cobia just didn’t want to play. This afternoon we did some Trout fishing to start then tried for a Cobia. Conditions were still tough but we did manage one small Cobia that we released. Great to have Ryan and Bill Denny back again this year!
Wednesday June 1st morning and afternoon
This morning Tom and Tommy had great shark fishing. We caught Blacktips, Spinners, Sandbars and Sharpnoses. With overcast conditions we were hoping for a Cobia but we never got one in the slick. This afternoon Will and Sean brought their girls down and we had great action with sharks but they were mostly big Spinners. They followed us for 2 hours with non stop hookups putting on a great show with some spectacular jumps. These girls were on to it. Great job guys and girls!
Tuesday May 31st
Fantastic trip this afternoon with Charlie Joe Eric and Dave. We decided to do some chumming since it was cloudy. The fog rolled in once we got out there but we had non stop action with Blacktip, Spinner and Sandbar sharks. When it was time to go we reeled in our baits but saw another shark in the spread so we fed him a bait. Then we saw another so we put out one more and hooked him. Then I looked behind the motor and saw a big Cobia that wanted in on the action so we threw him a Meat Hog Bucktail and ended the day with a 49 pound Cobia! Great job guys!
